Molecule Holdings launches COVID-19 antibody test

Molecule Holdings is rolling out its COVID Care immunoglobulin G/immunoglobulin M (IgG/IgM) COVID-19 rapid test kits for medical professionals, first responders, and law enforcement.

The test kits are designed to detect IgG and IgM antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in human blood in as little as five minutes. The COVID Care rapid test has a clinical sensitivity rating of 91% and a specificity rating of 99%, according to the company.

The COVID Care test kits are cleared for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and were developed by Pinnacle BioLabs, an FDA-registered laboratory in Tennessee.
