Roche announced on Wednesday the launch of an advanced tissue staining platform, the BenchMark Ultra Plus, to enable lab personnel to manage their activities more efficiently.
The platform's simplified software enables streamlined productivity and quality control to support the quicker delivery of test results for patients, the firm said.
Using the tissue staining platform to apply chemicals to tissue on glass slides, healthcare professionals can identify biochemical markers within cells. They can then determine the presence or absence of key drivers that feed unhealthy cells and, in many cases, the type of therapy that could be used to combat them, Roche said.
