The February 7 deadline to apply for the American Association for Clinical Chemistry's (AACC) Disruptive Technology Award is drawing close. The award can give a major boost to start-up companies developing new diagnostics technologies, and LabPulse.com talked to AACC President Dr. Stephen Master about how developers can make the most of the competition.
Now in its fifth year, the Disruptive Technology Award is designed to highlight technologies that have the potential to become disruptive advancements in laboratory medicine, Master said. These technologies could fundamentally improve the ability to diagnose certain diseases, or may improve access for existing kinds of testing.
Master explains the competition and how diagnostics companies can apply in the video below.
