Labcorp has entered into a strategic partnership with Prisma Health, a nonprofit and health system based in South Carolina, with Labcorp acquiring some assets of Prisma's outreach laboratory business.
The two entities also entered into a technical support agreement that will make Labcorp's expertise available to Prisma's hospital laboratories.
Prisma said this partnership will expand patient access to laboratory testing throughout South Carolina.
