Bruker eyes Chemspeed to accelerate entry into lab automation market

Basel, Switzerland-based Bruker announced that it plans to acquire Chemspeed to accelerate Bruker’s entry into the lab automation, digitalization, and scientific software solutions market. 

Bruker's offerings include products in preclinical imaging, clinical phenomics research, proteomics and multiomics, spatial and single-cell biology, functional structural and condensate biology, as well as clinical microbiology and molecular diagnostics. Chemspeed manufactures vendor-agnostic modular automated laboratory research and development (R&D) and quality control (QC) workflow solutions.

Dr. Rolf Gueller, the founder and CEO of Chemspeed, will serve on Chemspeed's advisory board moving forward, according to Bruker.
