Automation company Festo is showing its new low-weight 96-channel bulk dispense head at the 2019 American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) annual meeting in Anaheim, CA.

Its dispense volumes range from less than 10 µL to more than 100 µL, with a coefficient of variation generally less than 5%. Other notable features of the device include the following:
- Low weight (roughly 1 kg)
- Modular cassette design
- Individual control for each eight-well column in the microplate
- Usable with disposable or fixed-tip applications
