OptraScan launches new scanner

April 1, 2021 -- OptraScan announced it has launched a high-speed scanner called the OS-Ultra 320 designed to reduce workflow errors and scale up pathology laboratory operations.

The OS-Ultra 320 scans tissue and cell samples at 40-times magnification in less than 60 seconds and features a no-touch continuous loading operation. In addition, it features an intuitive interface with fully automated walk-away acquisition, an LED light source, and real-time auto focus, according to the company.
