Quest Diagnostics: COVID-19 positive test rates falling

Quest Diagnostics announced that the average positivity rate for COVID-19 is now in the mid-single digits, compared with a rate of more than 30% in January. Additionally, the lab marked two years of tracking COVID-19 testing with some statistics.

As of March 6, Quest has performed and reported 64.7 million cumulative molecular tests for COVID-19, and the company has performed and reported 8.1 million cumulative antibody tests. Molecular test capacity per day is 300,000, and antibody testing is 350,000 per day.

Most diagnostic tests results are being reported in one day, Quest reported.
