Quest Diagnostics has tapped diagnostics industry veteran Manuel Méndez as senior vice president and chief commercial officer.
Méndez comes to Quest from Qiagen, where he was head of global operations. He has also served in executive roles at BioMérieux, Abbott Laboratories, Thermo Fisher Scientific, and OraSure Technologies.
Méndez will lead Quest's commercial team as the company seeks to grow its revenue by taking advantage of being newly in-network with UnitedHealthcare, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and Anthem Georgia, according to the company.
