Cell-free DNA testing company Natera has released pricing for its Prospera donor-derived cell-free DNA (dd-cfDNA) organ transplant laboratory-developed test.

The company has priced the test at $2,840.75. Prospera measures the fraction of dd-cfDNA in the recipient's blood to detect both clinical and subclinical allograft rejection, including T-cell mediated rejection and antibody-mediated rejection, according to Natera. It uses the firm's single-nucleotide polymorphism-based massively multiplexed polymerase chain reaction (mmPCR) technology to identify rejection without the need for prior donor or recipient genotyping.
