SambaNova Systems and DeLorean Artificial Intelligence announced that dialysis testing lab Ascend Clinical is the first customer to use their artificial intelligence (AI)-based renal care software.
The platform uses deep learning models to classify, track, and transition renal patients through disease states and provide recommended actions for treatment and care. Classification occurs in real time, and the technology provides personalized recommendations, such as the suggested flow rate for infusion and what blood tests need to be performed and at what frequency.
The technology, which is comprised of SambaNova's AI platform and DeLorean's AI medical renal model, is subscription-based and can be hosted in the cloud or onsite. Labs across the U.S. can use it to track diabetes, heart disease, or cancer.
