SpeeDx secures European CE-IVD Mark for COVID-19 test

SpeeDx has received the European CE-IVD Mark for its PlexPCR test for SARS-CoV-2. The test targets two regions of the SARS-CoV-2 genome.

PlexPCR has been tested with a database of more than 1 million sequences, according to the firm. It is compatible with the company's PlexPCR RespiVirus test as well as its PlexPrep liquid handling system and works with 96- or 384-well quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) systems and liquid handling robotics.
