Longhorn Vaccines & Diagnostics is partnering with SiO2 Materials Science to distribute its PrimeStore Molecular Transport Medium (MTM) in SiO2's 12-mm sample transport tubes.
The tubes will help large clinical labs with high sample volumes to pool more samples with less required material, according to Longhorn. They are available for COVID-19, influenza, and other virus testing.
PrimeStore MTM is a sample collection system that inactivates RNA, mRNA, and DNA pathogens, Longhorn said.
