Dialysis testing lab Ascend has expanded its relationship with Siemens Healthineers, striking a deal to outfit its new lab in Sunnyvale, CA, with over 40 Siemens Atellica Solution analyzers.
Ascend already performs over 1 million lab tests a day and was one of the first labs to offer COVID-19 antibody testing using Atellica analyzers. Under the new deal, Ascend will install additional Atellica equipment at the Sunnyvale facility, which is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2022.
