Telehealth provider MeMD is making COVID-19 antibody tests available to consumers and businesses in the U.S. through its virtual ordering platform, in partnership with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics.
With the new platform, consumers request blood antibody testing during telemedicine visits and are assessed by a health provider to determine appropriateness. Testing is done through LabCorp or Quest. Results are available within three to five days, and show whether an individual has been exposed to COVID-19 during at least the last two weeks, according to MeMd.
