2San on Monday announced that the Genabio Diagnostics COVID-19 Rapid Self-Test Kit is now available on Amazon.com.
The self-test received emergency use authorization (EUA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in July. It is a rapid immunoassay designed for the qualitative detection of nucleocapsid (N) protein antigen from SARS-CoV-2.
2San, a London-based medical devices distributor of the test, said that according to clinical data the device can identify whether an individual has been infected by any existing SARS-CoV-2 variant, including Omicron, with 91.89% sensitivity and 100% specificity.
A single test costs $9.99, while a two-test kit pack costs $15.99.
