Lucira Health on Thursday announced the launch of Lucira Connect, an online service that includes at-home testing for COVID-19 and access to treatment as well as medical advice.
Through the service, users of Lucira’s at-home molecular COVID-19 test can capture results via a smartphone. Those who test positive can use Lucira Connect to access a telehealth consultation to discuss risk factors and appropriate treatment options with an independent medical professional.
Information about treatment options, as well as the risks of COVID-19, is available on Lucira Connect through a partnership with Pfizer, and a patient may receive a prescription through a consultation with a physician. Users pay $29 for the COVID-19 test, Lucira said.
