Classification occurs in real time, and the technology provides personalized recommendations, such as the suggested flow rate for infusion and what blood tests need to be performed and at what frequency.

AI-driven DNA methylation liquid biopsy shows promise in brain and kidney cancer
The method -- called cell-free methylated DNA immunoprecipitation and high-throughput sequencing (cfMeDIP-seq) -- has been developed for blood and other kinds of liquid specimens. Testing screens for abnormal methylation, whereas liquid biopsy tests typically look for mutations, the researchers explained.

Google reports pathology AI helps predict survival in cancer patients
The deep-learning system was developed and tested using histopathology slides for patients with 10 cancer types -- including bladder cancer, invasive breast cancer, and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma -- drawing from publicly available data from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) program.
