Ibex Medical Analytics announced the deployment of an artificial intelligence (AI)-based tool for cancer detection at pathology lab network Medipath in France.
Ibex's Galen Prostate uses an algorithm to analyze prostate biopsies and alerts clinicians when it identifies discrepancies in pathologists' initial diagnoses. Alerts include notification of potential missed cancers. The tool has been incorporated into routine practice, Ibex said.
