Proscia is integrating the image format of Philips into its Concentriq open digital pathology platform, as part of its overall commitment to ensuring compatibility of systems.
Through a collaborative effort, Philips' digital pathology software development kit, which incorporates the iSyntax image format, will be compatible with Proscia's Concentriq and AI modules, according to the companies. Many different hardware and software products are being used by labs transitioning to digital pathology, and there is increasing demand for interoperability and flexibility, Proscia said in a statement.
