The Digital Pathology Association (DPA) has created an online resource for whole slide image pathology for its members.
The Digital Anatomic Pathology Academy provides digital slides to help pathologists around the world practice and educate themselves. The slides are being continuously updated and have annotations with diagnosis, morphology, and testing information.
The academy is part of a cloud-based platform that can be accessed from any device without the need to download software, the DPA noted. The association hopes the resource will attract new members, especially students, and it is currently offering free memberships to pathology residents, fellows, doctoral students, and medical students.
