Bio-Rad Laboratories announced the release of its QX One Droplet Digital polymerase chain reaction (ddPCR) system at the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP) meeting, held November 7-9 in Baltimore.
The product features automated workflow incorporating all steps involved in the company's ddPCR technology. Bio-Rad designed the single, integrated system for use in drug development and manufacturing quality control and said that it can analyze up to 480 samples per day.
The company offered early access to the product this year and is planning additional capacity for 2020.
