PathogenDx partners with Bertin Instruments on airborne COVID-19 test

PathogenDx has formed a partnership with Bertin Instruments to offer a test for airborne contaminants such as SARS-CoV-2 and other airborne viruses.

The new system brings together Bertin's Coriolis bio-air sampler with PathogenDx's EnviroX-Rv testing technology. After Coriolis traps biological particles inside its cyclonic-like filter, the resulting air sample is then analyzed by the EnviroX-Rv test kit to determine viral presence through DNA microarray analysis, according to the companies.
