Cloud-based software-as-a-service company GoMeyra this week announced that it has expanded its Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) platform, allowing it to process individual tests and panels for monkeypox, urinary tract infections, and sexually transmitted infections.

The cloud-based platform uses digital scanning to process test samples instead of manually inputting data, covering the stages of sample storage, testing, reporting, and archiving, as well as monitoring the movement of a sample from its receipt at a laboratory through the end of its life cycle, GoMeyra said.

Its features include automated payment and credit card processing, insurance billing, and real-time revenue reporting, as well as processes for automating inventory tracking, restocking, ordering supplies, and vendor management, the company said.

GoMeyra said it is working to introduce additional testing panels to its LIMS, with respiratory and toxicology coming next.
