Abbott has introduced its AlinIQ Integrated Platform, a new diagnostics technology platform that aims to connect laboratory and other healthcare data across the hospital system to facilitate data analytics.
Offered as part of Abbott's AlinIQ professional services and informatics portfolio, the Integrated Platform's initial service -- Business Performance -- will target operational efficiencies in the lab. Leveraging Abbott's operational analysts and the platform's ability to gather data from multiple sources, the Business Performance package can identify insights that could result in lower lab administrative and processing costs and enable technicians to focus on analyzing diagnostic results, Abbott said. The Business Performance package is available now in the U.S.
