Huron Digital Pathology has named Audil Virk as the company's new president, effective April 12. Virk has more than 15 years of senior management experience and has been serving as the company's chief operating officer for more than 10 years.
Virk has executive leadership and operational experience in general management, strategy, product development, and technology commercialization, Huron said.
Huron Digital is based in St. Jacobs, Ontario, Canada. The company's digital pathology products include TissueScope digital slide scanners, Lagotto image search, and workflow-enhancing accessories, such as the TissueSnap preview scanning station.
