Natera files patent lawsuit against Progenity

Natera has filed a lawsuit against Progenity for infringing six U.S. patents.

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and alleges the use and sale of Progenity's noninvasive prenatal test infringes upon six of Natera's patents. The firm is seeking injunctive relief as well as monetary damages, according to a press statement.
